This past week I got a chance to go back-in-time. Most of us never get that chance, but I did. I went to a couple of radio stations to film promo’s for our upcoming Playlist series that begins Sept. 12th. For 18  years that was my life. It was all I ever wanted to do since the time I was in 3rd grade and I got the chance to live my dream. Then God decided to change the course of my life. 18 years ago I would have never guessed that I’d be the pastor of a brand new church. Being chosen by God to start a new church has been one of the most exhilarating and exhausting adventures of my life.  I can relate to Peter and Andrew when Jesus called them to leave the only profession they had ever known and follow Him.

One day as Jesus was walking along the shore of the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers—Simon, also called Peter, and Andrew—throwing a net into the water, for they fished for a living. Jesus called out to them, “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!” And they left their nets at once and followed him. Matt 4:18-20
