The other day I tweeted that a snow day is God’s way of saying, “You won’t slow down? I’ll shut you down.” This is something I continually struggle with. One of my favorite scriptures is “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.” Oh wait, that’s from the Shining. My bad. Truth is, I can actually justify my hectic pace with scripture. Of course I blow right by scriptures like this one.

Yesterday I finally got the message. Glad I did. Thanks God for shutting me down.
