What is there in your life that could have a negative effect on your witness?

God told Paul he was going to preach the Good News in Rome. You’ve got to wonder what Paul’s reaction was since he was in the inbetween time (last Sunday’s message).

Paul must have stayed up most of the night coming up with a strategy and plan. “Someone’s gonna post bail. I’ll gather a missions team together. We’ll do some fundraisers and training. Then off to Rome.”

Instead a posse of 40 men plan to assassinate him. Not exactly what he had in mind. But, it’s this threat that opens the door for him to go to Rome.

We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps. Proverbs 16:9
