Everybody’s got a to-do list. I’m no exception. People think I’m very organized. I’m not. I just have to write everything down or I will forget. I’m also prone to wandering and rabbit trails. To Do Lists keep me on point and focused.
At the top of my to-do list is something I call my “Day Starter.” I look at it everyday. It includes my life verse, life mission statement, people I’m praying for, and my must-do list.
My Must-Do List
Today I must bring glory and honor to Christ.
Today I must be fully devoted to following Christ.
Today I must grow in my relationship with Christ.
Today I must do justice and show mercy to people in need.
If I do nothing else today I must do those four things. At the end of the day that’s what truly matters. Everything else is temporal and only the things of Christ have an eternal impact.
By the way, I didn’t come up with this must-do list; Jesus did.
