Early on Sunday morning, as the new day was dawning, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went out to visit the tomb. Matthew 28:1

You may be like Mary and Mary, getting ready to lay flowers on your tomb. The tombstone inscription might read  “Marriage, Career, School, Finances, Dream, Health.”

What you think is dead may be getting ready to experience a resurrection. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead can resurrect your situation.

The Scripture goes on to say that an angel spoke to them and they ran quickly from the tomb. They were frightened but full of joy. They ran from the tomb to where Jesus was waiting for them in Galilee.

You might be frightened, but with Jesus in the mix there’s still hope. Run to the hope and joy that are found in Jesus.

Forget about yesterday. A new day is dawning. What appears to be dead can be made alive again in Christ.
