After 8 weeks, and over 50 names submitted, we have a new name. So, how did we come up with the name Core Church at Aspen Creek? Our name comes from our vision and the words of Jesus.

‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
Matthew 22:37-39.

At the core of who we are is loving God and loving people. This vision isn’t unique to us. This is the vision Jesus has for every church and every person.

At Core Church it’s all about worshiping Jesus.

Lead people into a COMMITMENT to follow Him (soul).
At Core Church our focus will always be outward, not inward, as we reach people far from God.

Live in COMMUNITY with one another (mind).
At Core Church we will grow in relationship with God by being in relationship with God’s people.

Love the world through COMPASSION (neighbor).
At Core Church we will do justice and show mercy to people in need.

The name Core Church at Aspen Creek identifies us, but what we do will define us.
