I love this picture. It’s Herk (my boy) and his buddies in downtown Tulsa. It got me thinking…
When I look out of my picture frame I see the world. But, when the world looks back all they see in the picture frame is me.
So many times I look out and don’t like what I see in the world. Pain, hopelessness, loneliness, abuse, poverty…the list goes on and on. I want the picture to change. Then, I realize, the world is looking in and I must be the change I want to see.
“You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.” Jesus
Did you have permision to take this picture? Haha just kidding man. And Todd, that’s a fence on top of the parking garage. Haha
Great picture. Good things to think about. Thanks. That doesn’t really send a good message of safety when those kids are standing that close to the glass.
Thanks for the amazing words. You are a great man of God and I appreciate everything you did for my family while we were neighbors. Keeping you, your family and everyone at Connection Church in our prayers. God Bless
Great thought.
