Acts 16 (Key verse, Acts 16:10)
Reflect
Where is God calling you to witness for the gospel?
When the going gets tough, how do you respond?

Paul’s got a plan. I like Paul.
He’s going to go to Asia and then head over to Bithynia. But both times the Holy Spirit messes with his plans. If Paul was anything like me, I’m sure he got a bit frustrated. After all, we’re talking about Asia here.
Instead, he heads over to Philippi where he ends up at a women’s C3 Life Group. At this point Paul’s got to be wondering, “What the heck am I doing here? I’m supposed to be turning Asia upside down for Jesus.” God’s got other plans and his plans are much bigger than Paul’s.
One of the women there is Lydia who owned a dress shop at Utica Square. Acts 16:15 says “she was baptized along with the rest of her household.” The church in Philippi started in her living room and went on to become one of the most significant churches in the New Testament. You can read their story in a letter Paul wrote them called Philippians.
I’m glad God messes with my plans.
